Hello, we are a family that has been affected by cancer.  My brother, AJ, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 27, 2023. Nothing could have prepared us for this. His diagnosis set in motion a chain of protocols and procedures that were quite frankly overwhelming. There was little we could do to ease the side effects from the medications and chemotherapy. Although his recovery is promising, the road to recovery is laden with emotional, physical and existential pain. There is hope and rather than going into details about our struggles, let me share options/remedies that have helped us get through some of this.
