Mission Statement:
Our mission is simple: find a niche need during cancer treatment and fill it.
-
During the first round of treatment at the hospital, the nurses would wrap AJ’s chemo and other medications in “fruit roll ups” to masquerade the pill’s taste. We assumed the hospital provided these tasty treats, but they didn't. The nurses either pay for the fruit roll ups out of their own pockets or they rely on donors to bring them. We did not find out until our last day at the hospital because the nurses and donors shouldered the demand. Our goal is collect more donations so that others like AJ can feel just as supported. Join to help us donate snacks and treats for the kids.
-
AJ is nauseated around the clock which is a byproduct of treatment. Queasy Lollipops, a method of settling the stomach, is helpful for cancer patients. We discovered that Jolly ranches also do the trick! These can be purchased through our sign up tab which directs you to amazon for easy purchase or in-store.

Our goal is to find committed individuals who can donate small, affordable items such as fruit roll ups, jolly ranchers, board games and puzzles, etc to hospitals or clinics. For more information, click on the “Get Involved” tab.
